A 288-bed, 133,000 square feet regional jail facility in Hanover County, Virginia. Kitchen, serving and seating areas were designed to serve inmates four times a day. The jail contains digital control systems and specialized security and detention technology. Sitework included site utilities, site improvements, security fencing, roads and sidewalks. Unique to this project were items relating to security as well as the on-site construction of a 250,000 gallon water tank with foundations and all associated piping.
